Swatch Tuesday! O.P.I. * Every Month is Oktoberfest

Wheeee second Swatch Tuesday!  I’m stoked I’m actually keeping up with this.  Today I have a great, though somewhat elusive, color for you.  O.P.I.’s Every Month is Oktoberfest.  I was supposed to be on the lookout for this for one of my nail mail girls, but there was only one...internal battle, and I won.  Sorry love!  But I did find a lot of stuff on her wish list (that’s how I justified it).  ANYWAYS  this color is awesomeeeee!  In the bottle it looks reddish gold, but when you put the first coat on, it’s a deep purlpey-blue.  Then the second coat evens it out and makes it a dark red-purple with some gold and red shimmer.  It’s absolutely impossible to photograph.  It looks black in most of the pictures I took.  I found it at Ulta for $8 or $8.50 (whatever normal O.P.I. price is) if anyone is trying desperately to locate it.  It wasn’t by all the other Germany collection bottles though, it was definitely hidden with the regular O.P.I.s in a different section.  It doesn’t hurt to search!

I left it on for a couple days because it was just too pretty.  Before I took it off, I added Lush Lacquer’s Party Rockin’ to my pinky.  I don’t think it’s as awesome as everyone makes it out to be.  First of all, it has bar glitter – which I absolutely LOATHE!!  And it’s just not the prettiest glitter combination out there.  Party Rockin’ has small blue, purple, gold, and orange square, blue hex, and (the dreaded) light blue bar glitter.  I don’t know – maybe I haven’t found the perfect undies for it yet – any suggestions for me?  I bought this off Lush Lacquer’s Etsy shop in the pick 3 deal for $18 (shipping cost included).  Full sized bottles go for $8.75 + shipping.  It looks much cooler in the full sized bottle ;(

You can “like” Ulta, O.P.I., and Lush Lacquer on Facebook.  More importantly, you can “like” ME on Facebook! ;)

Have a great week lovelies.  See you back on Friday for a tequila drink and quite possibly the prettiest nails I’ve done to date!
