Swatch Tuesday! Polish Me To Go Pastel Glow Polish

Hello Lovelies!  I'm back for another review of Polish Me To Go!  This time I have two pastels and a surprise!

First up is a soft pinky-purple (some of my IG girls and I have dubbed it "pinkle") pastel called Like Grapes?  In real life the color is more purple, unfortunately it photographs more on the pink side.

I used two thin coats of Like Grapes? with no undies.  Dry time was super quick.  The formula is matte and was the prefect consistency.  Again, no streaks or chunky polish.  No topcoat on this to show the matte effect.

This glow was not as bright as some others I have from PMTG.  I charged it up for about two minutes and this was the result.  The bottle glows bright, so I think I should have shaken it up a little better.  Oh wellzies, you can still see the awesome purple glow!

A suuuuuper sweet IG gal, Kayla, sent me a Valentine box full of goodies.  This little beauty, I'm Fwee by Darling Diva Polish, was in there.  I was dying to try it so I decided since I was swatching, why not?  lol this is two coats DDP I'm Fwee over Like Grapes?  Pretty pretty right?  :)

Next from Polish Me To Go is an UH-maaaaa-ZINGuhhhh pastel blue polish called I'm So Blue.  Y'all know I have a soft spot for my blue polish!  I have NOTHING like this in my collection.  I just can't even find words for how much I love this color!  Formula is the same: matte, perfect application, two coats, no undies, no tops.  Just LOOOOOK!

The glow is great in this polish.  I only charged it up while I was taking the picture above (maybe 45 seconds).

Last is a super awesome surprise!!  When I saw the mini black bottle in my nail mail, I was a little confused.  I thought maybe I was supposed to use it as an undie for the pastels.  But I rubbed my two brain cells together and figured out Night Water was a glow polish too!  Wouldjya look at it!  lol
Three coats PMTG Night Water
I used three coats to get it fully opaque.  Formula is consistent with my other reviews.  This one had a bit of a weak glow as well.  Again, the bottle glows very well, so a little more shaking on my part would have been beneficial.  This is with 2 minutes under a light.

I did some more basic nail artin'.  Used PMTG I'm So Blue and one of my new Color Club Spring 2013 Halo Hues polishes called Beyond.  I topped with Seche Vite to get rid of the gritty matte feel.

  1. These are so gorgeous! I am such a sucker for glow in the dark polishes. Ordered I'm So Blue along with a few others last weekend, wish I had known about that black one. I think I really need it. :)
